GOLDEN HOUR | SIMPSON DESERT | QLD - The Simpson has many faces - constantly changing dunes, hot during the day, freezing at night and ever changing colors. Between 4:30pm and 5:30pm I call the ?Golden Hour? because the light is every photographer?s dream. I had been past this dune a number of times and never shot an image. On this day the wind was so strong it cut like sandpaper, which to my delight shaped the dune into what made for a truely stunning image. Fuji GX617 - Fuji Velvia
