The desert is a place of contrast. Even though the
Simpson is a red desert the time of day and location can alter this, as is apparent in this photograph. Thisdesert scene was lit by the early afternoon sun which showed a touch of cyan in a cloudless blue sky. As is so often the case, the sculptured composition threw me a fantastic photographic challenge.
