The Gold Coast Hinterland is a treasure trove of natural beauty. The serenity and calm cascading waters of Natural Arch made for the perfect image. I was very fortunate on this day to have overcast conditions which are ideal for giving rainforest photography a magical element. It hadn’t rained here for quite a while so the water flow was slow, the bonus of this was many little cascades of water which under a long exposure appear as silky shafts of light.
