CRAIGS HUT | TONY MIDDLETON

Craigs Hut | Mt Sterling, Victoria. Craig's hut is probably the most famous of all the high country huts in Victoria and was the feature for the movie 'The man from Snowy river'. But like all things 'Hollywood' it actually nowhere near the Snowy river but is spectacularly perched on a bluff at 1433m on Mt Sterling. This particular day the thick fog and persistant mix of sleet and snow enabled me to photograph this iconnic hut in an unfamiliar yet very ambient and moody way.
